Privacy notice
This page explains, in plain language, what information this campaign site collects and what we do with it.
What we collect
- What you type into the signup form: your first and last name, organization (optional), email address, and whether you ticked the email-consent box.
- Basic visit records: when a campaign page is viewed or a form is submitted, we record the time, the page's personalization code, your browser's user-agent string, the referring page, and any campaign tags in the link you followed (such as utm_source). We do not record your IP address.
- One first-party analytics cookie: we set a single cookie ("vid") containing a random identifier so we can count unique visitors. It contains no personal information, is never shared with anyone, and expires after one year.
- Simple engagement measurements: on the confirmation page we measure how long the page stays open and which links to our website you click. These measurements are tied only to the random cookie identifier, never to your name or email.
What we don't do
- No third-party trackers, no ad pixels, no third-party scripts — the one cookie above is ours alone and is used only for the counts described here.
- We never sell or share your information with third parties.
- We only send you marketing email if you explicitly ticked the consent box — it is unchecked by default.
Why we collect it
To send you the Direct Mail Masterclass you requested, to respond if you ask us to, and — only with your consent — to email you about Ampersand's direct mail resources and services. Visit records are used in aggregate to measure how the campaign performed.
Where it's stored
Your information is stored in Canada, in a Supabase database hosted in the ca-central-1 (Montréal) region.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete your information, or withdraw email consent, at any time. Contact us at hello@ampersand.ca.
